A lil bit of Tom Waits puts me just in the right mindset for writing! This next group of photos is from a place that might as well be considered local for myself and the Fayetteville people. The name of it is Lincoln lake, and its quite the spot! Its a muggy, buggy, snakey lake that offers so much more than unpleasantness. The rock, as well as the ecological formation makes it one of Northwest Arkansas Hidden gems.
Fun Fact: Lincoln lake served as the main water supply for the following towns: Lincoln, Prairie Grove, Morrow, Evansville, Cain Hill, and Stroms Arkansas. It is a man-made lake that was accomplished by building a landmass damn that backed up not one, but TWO streams, producing this fantastic spot!
And here we go!!!
